Whether the session is in the studio or on location, time is taken first to do some relaxed poses and get everybody used to the environment.

Some simple directions are given to set up shots and position individuals, but that is only the beginning. The natural interactions between family members and those spontaneous expressions are where the magic happens. You will be surprised that being relaxed and being yourselves will not only make it fun for you but will allow the photographer to capture everyone as they really are.

Remember the day of the photo session to keep things light and relaxed and it will transfer into the photos. If you’re running five minutes late or if your little one’s hair just won’t stay smoothed or the baby just won’t stop crying, take a deep breath and relax. Everything doesn’t have to be perfect to get a perfect photograph.

Two weeks or so after your session your photographs will be ready for you to preview. There will be a link and password for you to see your own private gallery of photographs. From the website you can choose prints, and with the ordering form provided to you via email, you can order your prints at your leisure. You can also schedule an ordering session where you can review the gallery and discuss options for paper, size and content. Your order will be finalized at the time a deposit is made for the prints.

Your prints will arrive 3 to 4 weeks after ordering. (Some fine art canvases may take several additional weeks.) We will contact you when your prints arrive and at that time you can schedule a pickup time.
