Jeff was born in Havana, Cuba and lived in several countries before his family settled in the Mobile area.
During high school he began photographing friends and relatives.
Never losing his passion for capturing a smile; he continued to master photography while enjoying a career in land planning and development.
Jeff now pursues the “art of photography” at his studio in Fairhope, Alabama.
In land planning process, if the lifestyle, human connections, and quality of life are not considered and celebrated, the project itself will not be a success. The same applies to photography. The classic photograph, whether formal or casual, must capture the real personalities and celebrate the connection.
Ideal photographs are ones that make you feel, make you remember and encourage you to think about everything you share with your family and friends.
Jeff’s photography captures a brief moment in time that will last a lifetime using a blend of artistic vision and technical expertise.
He lives with his wife Karen, his “title holder” yellow lab, Watson, and a few cats. On days when Jeff is working on post- production in the studio, you may find Watson standing at the studio door, looking back at Jeff, hoping he will take a break and go outside and play a game of “fetch the tennis ball.”
